About The Clinic

This clinic is for high Beginner, Intermediate and advanced surfers.

Chix Surf School is putting on 2 x 1 day events for surfers of all abilities to help get your surfing to the next level. With clear guidance, supportive instruction and technical feedback that will motivate you to push out of your comfort zone, this one day event will give you all the tools you need to get there.

With Owner and Head coach Gee Cormack hosting both days she will be sharing her coaching knowledge and skills on the technical elements to surfing, Gee will guide you through each activity with support and motivation which will allow you to walk away from the day having a very clear and outlined guide to what you need to do to progress.

Gee has been travelling around the world for years working with all kinds of surfers and coaches sharing her programs and now she is putting on a program in Victoria for the surfing community. A day for the Beginner to low intermediate and a day for the high intermediate to advanced.

Surf Session…
A 2hr surf session with a bunch of likeminded women working on your surf progression and challenging your understanding of your capabilities.

Video Analysis…
Get your surfing analysed by coach Gee Cormack who will brake down your surf technique with clear and positive feedback and give you things to work on to get you to the next stage of your surfing.

On Land (SmoothStar) training…
Understand the fundamental movements of a surfer and what your body and board needs to do to be able to get the best results when you are in the water catching waves.

Gee has an incredible depth of knowledge when it comes to surfing in all kinds of conditions. She has taught me how to read the ocean and mentally prepare myself for every surf regardless of the waves, tides, crowds and seasons. Training on the Smoothstar with Gee has helped me to exponentially progress my surfing by giving me a better understanding of the body movement and commitment required to generate speed and do turns on the wave.

On an emotional level Gee has taught me to back myself in the surf and has given me the confidence to surf outside of my comfort zone. Gee also understands the limitations of an older body that has been through two pregnancies and is able to guide me through those physical restrictions.

Most importantly, Gee has encouraged me to find the joy and fun in surfing so that I enjoy every single opportunity I have to be out in the ocean taking part in the sport that I love so much!
