Sunday Surf Sessions

On a Sunday of each month, Chix Surf School will be hosting ‘Sunday Surf Sessions’ from 9am-11am to Mona Vale beach or North Curl Curl beach. We will be chilling next to a Chix Surf School flag with a blanket and some good music so please come along!

About Our Sunday Surf Sessions

A morning spent with a bunch of likeminded ladies and our highly training Chix surf coaches giving you tips on how to improve your surfing, advice on understanding the ocean and surf specific exercises to help with your surf progression. Our coaches will be there on the beach answering all your questions in regards to any problems you may be facing with your surfing and will be there watching you as you surf so they can give you any extra guidance or advice. So, if you want to go out and free surf with a bunch of awesome ladies, have a good laugh, chat about the waves and put into practice your new skills, then come along and join the community.

For Beginners (must have done a few surf sessions before) through to Advanced surfers.

We love our Chix surf community and want to offer a space where all our East coast based woman can come along, get to know each other and learn a thing or 2 about on how to improve their surfing. We look forward to seeing you there, if you have any further questions please contact us.

Note: These sessions are swell and weather dependent. If we are unable to run on the Sunday session we will reschedule for another Sunday in the month.

Hi, my name is Gee Cormack  founder/ owner & head coach here at Chix Surf School and can I just say a quick Thank You for checking out the site!

As we are a school that works very closely with our clients getting them to their dream surfing ability through teaching them to understand fear, breaking down technique and empowering through progression it is important to get to know our coaches and how we fell in love with surfing and helping other women surf.

Itinerary:

What you will learn:

  • Correct surf posture.
  • Controlled balance.
  • Foot Positioning.
  • Speed generation.
  • Body rotation (when turning).
  • Weight distribution.

Things To Bring:

You must provide your own surfboard and wetsuit for the session and you must be able to be independent in the ocean.

Our coaches are NOT in the water with you so you must be able to be safe in the ocean.
