Surfing Lessons for young children aged 4 - 7 years

If you want to introduce your little ones to the surf but your not quite sure how to go about it then these lessons are a fun, safe way to go about it. Our coaches are well trained in the careful art of introducing the waves and the board to your little ones.

Using surf education and board technique we are able to show your kiddies a good time and learn the first steps to becoming a surfer.

What you will learn

The correct technique of standing up.
Controlled paddling and timing.
Reading and catching waves.
How to turn and generate speed
Riding whitewash and/ or unbroken waves

I'm not a very strong swimmer...can I learn to surf?

Most kiddies are not very comfortable being in moving water or going under waves. These classes are a great way for them to build up their confidence and understanding of the ocean in a safe environment.

I have surfed a few times before. Is this the right lesson for me?

We take on kiddies of all ages and abilities. These classes will accommodate for the needs of your little one.

We have a group of friends. Can we book a private group lesson?

As these classes are for the younger kids the classes have to stay quite small but if you wanted to get a few of your kids friends together, learning in a group can be really encouraging for your kids.
